What is a Heart with Ears Session?
The Heart with Ears session is a 60-minute grief/life coaching session. Whether you need a listening ear, someone to connect the dots for you, learn about resources, or would like guidance – this session will help you discover that.
Or, perhaps you aren’t quite sure what you need right now, and that’s okay, too. Sometimes we need to feel supported where we have none, especially when the people in our lives aren’t safe people to go to.
These sessions are not a replacement for Grief Recovery Programs.

Heart with Ears Q&A

Who is not a good fit for a Heart with Ears Session?
Adults who are experiencing suicidal thoughts/tendencies and not under a licensed therapist’s care are beyond my scope of practice.
However, I never want to leave someone in need out in the cold, so please reach out to me. I have helped many other grievers find licensed therapists who are also Advanced Certified Grief Recovery Specialists. These professionals are the best fit.
That being said, if you are having or have had suicidal thoughts/tendencies and are under a therapist’s care, I welcome you to schedule with me if your therapist approves.
I already have a therapist, can I still have a session?
Yes! If you are currently under the care of a licensed therapist, I’d be more than happy to offer insights into grief specifically that may not be being addressed by your therapist.
How long are sessions?
Sessions are 60-minutes and we meet over Zoom.
What can we accomplish in 60-minutes?
You would be surprised at how much ground we can cover in 60-minutes!
During our conversation, there are very specific questions that help us get to the nitty-gritty. It is my promise that your time will not be wasted.
Why Victoria?
Take one look at a snapshot of my YouMap® profile and, you will see that Empathy is my number one strength. Active listening is a skill I have honed and developed over time as well. And, being able to see around the next corner and connect the dots of what is said, bodes well for someone struggling in the decision-making department.
I’ve also personally been in transition many times in my life and have had a life-long relationship with grief, too.
What is the difference between the Grief Recovery Programs & a Heart with Ears Session?
EVERYTHING!
Whether you’re working with me in the group or individual Grief Recovery programs, those are for self-discovery, moving beyond loss, and creating a path forward where we work on 1-2 relationships.
Those programs include comprehensive, deep, action-based heart work that takes you from feeling the weight of the world to being emotionally lighter and more joyful and hopeful for your future. They address every facet of grief, where you are and where you want to go, then provide you with education, tools, and a tangible guide to get you there.
Heart with Ears sessions are for adults who have already completed this program (and receive a discounted rate), are stuck in transition, desire to make a transition and need some support, or want to gain a better understanding and clarity of their situation and what they need moving forward.
How much is a Heart with Ears Session?
A 60-minute session is $85.
Clients who have already completed a Grief Recovery program with me receive a discounted rate.
What is included?
- 60-minutes of my undivided attention.
- Personal Client Portal that has your invoices, appointments, and all email correspondence in one place.
- Any Resources/References I have that I feel may be beneficial to your situation.
